About Vulnerable Person

Vulnerability refers to the conditions determined by physical, social, economic and environmental factors or processes, which increase the susceptibility of a community to the impact of hazards. A vulnerable group is therefore a population that has some specific characteristics that make it at higher risk of falling into poverty. Vulnerable groups include the elderly, the mentally and physically disabled, at-risk children and youth, ex-combatants, internally displaced people and returning refugees, HIV/AIDS- affected individuals and households, religious and ethnic minorities and, in some communities or societies, women

For disabled children, every day is a struggle. The multitude of barriers limiting their access to education, health care, social inclusion etc and the weight of what others say about their condition are obstacles to their well-being and fulfillment. No matter what physical or mental conditions the children are living with, they all are entitled to an environment that will promote their development – whether to go to school or to learn about cultural activities or have fun. Health care interventions, education, rehabilitation and sustainable livelihood development are the aspects the Foundation for Tomorrow(F4T) targets to address in partnership with like-minded individuals and organizations.
